Hockey Hats

There is nothing sweeter for a basketball lover than to don on a cap or hat of their favorite basketball team or even one that features their favorite player. Not only does a cap or a hat keep off the heat from the sun, it is also a fashion statement for some or their testament to being a fan. It also complements a jersey that an avid lover of basketball already has. The market is now full of the latest designs that are innovative and unique and could be just perfect to buy for yourself or for a loved one, whether they be young or old.

Basketball caps or just caps in general are usually fused at the crown to hold its shape. There is also usually an inner sweat band inside the cap that is made of cotton that helps absorb the sweat of the user. There are fitted hats, flex fit hats, reversible knit beanies or cuffed knit beanies even bucket hats to choose from when trying to get one. These hats or caps are either made from cotton twill, worsted wool or polyester. Mesh fabric or wool-stretch material make up flex fit hats as this material is designed to fit any type or size of a head. Most have adjustable fits ensured by the Velcro or buckle straps attached at the back. Basketball caps and hats are either hand or machine made though those made entirely by hand are more costly than those made by machines.

Some basketball caps feature script from the team logo on the front while most have the teams emblem on either the back or the side. While these logos could be machine-stitched onto to the surface of the cap, there are those that are hand-stitched. Most of the more expensive hand-crafted caps have raised embroidery, which makes the cap look better as the logos are more pronounced.
